GPS Camp (*New 2008 Camp)

Come spend a week learning about the exciting adventure game of Geocaching!! This modern day, high tech treasure hunting game uses a GPS (Global Positioning Unit) to help you find caches hidden across the world by fellow game players. Campers will spend the week learning all about this game. Topics that will be covered include: Basic GPS Use; topographic map reading; compass use; creating a cache; hiding a cache; finding a cache; geocoins and travel bugs; and more.
